Electric scooters

Advertised range is measured in ideal conditions: rider weight, hills and cold weather cut it noticeably. If the scooter has to go up stairs or onto a train, its folded weight becomes decisive. Pneumatic tyres absorb cobblestones better but can puncture, while solid tyres do the opposite. Front and rear brakes, splash resistance and available spare parts are worth more than a more powerful motor.
