The be quiet! Dark Rock Elite is a dual tower air cooler fitted with two 135 mm fans and 7 heat pipes measuring 6 mm in diameter. The base plate is copper and the fins are aluminium, rated for a thermal design power of up to 280 W.
The fans spin between 1500 and 2000 rpm, controlled via 4 pin PWM, with a measured noise level of 11 dB at low speed and 25.8 dB at high speed. The fluid dynamic bearing (FDB) has a rated mean time to failure of 300000 hours. ARGB lighting is built in.
The heatsink measures 136 x 120 x 168 mm and the unit weighs 1.34 kg. Socket support covers Intel LGA 1150, 1151, 1155, 1200 and 1700, as well as AMD AM4 and AM5.
